I say this as a member of the Conservative party but the Conservative party seems to be hell-bent on making fox hunting legal. In the 2017 election, Theresa May included a fox hunting pledge in her manifesto before removing it. My own conservative MP Sir Henry Bellingham is a big fan of fox hunting which is a damn shame - I'm going to be blunt here but it's absolutely abhorrent and he doesn't even reflect the views of his constituents.
If we can get more signatures, we can hopefully tell the Conservative party that it's not acceptable to ever include fox hunting on the manifesto in 2022 and beyond.
It's honestly despicable that humans continue to take pleasure in hunting animals this way. The fox is often chased for hours before being exhausted.
And listen, I've got nothing against hunting foxes for population control. But it's not even an effective method of population control. So keep sharing.
