Many petitions have called upon the government to ban fireworks, with the government reluctant to do so (often mentioning it being pointless, apparently the rise in arson, criminal damage, the use of fireworks as a weapon, the impact on the enviroment as well as wildlife and our pets/people with PTSD isn't enough of a reason) 

the UK Gov. put in place the law that fireworks were not allowed to be launched after 11pm, apart from on Diwali, bombfire night and NYE, however fireworks can legally be sold between 15 October and 10 November and between 26 to 31 December, they're also launched from that date range, not bought solely for the 3 listed events.

The police nor the Government actually enforce the 11pm law, they don't even mention it online or the media! meaning people have to deal with fireworks being set off as long as its dark enough to do so, sometimes when its not even dark! 

IF the UK Government are going to put in this rule, to throw the public asking for tighter restrictions on what is essentially colourful explosives, it could at least be enforced! its not like fireworks are silent, or this is some under the table deal, its obvious where fireworks are launched from, having people do it all hours of the night means animal owners/vulnerable people have no way of preparing!
