Enforce strict penalties for public littering and urination
Enforce strict penalties for public littering and urination
The Issue
I'm writing this petition because I love my country and I want to see it thrive. Cleanliness is a vital part of a prosperous society, and yet, our public spaces often suffer from neglect and disrespect. Littering, urinating, and defecating in public places not only tarnishes the beauty of our cities and villages but also poses serious health and environmental risks.
Currently, the lack of strict enforcement of penalties for these acts allows them to persist unabated. It's high time we take decisive action to stem this tide of disregard for our shared spaces and environments. That's why I'm urging the government to implement stringent penalties: a one-month imprisonment or a fine of up to ₹10,000 for those caught littering in streets, public places, rivers, walls, or any areas outside their own residence, as well as for those found urinating or defecating in public places.
Statistics show that cities with strong cleanliness regulations experience higher quality living standards, fewer health issues, and increased tourism. By enforcing these penalties, we can clean up our streets, boost public morale, and instill a sense of pride and responsibility in our fellow citizens. We must remind everyone that it is our shared duty to maintain a clean and healthy environment.
Join me in urging our leaders to take immediate action. Let's push for a legislative change that not only punishes these offenses but also serves as a deterrent. Together, we can work towards cleaner streets, better health, and a renewed sense of national pride.
Please sign this petition to demand stricter penalties for public littering and urination. Let’s make our country cleaner and more beautiful for everyone.
