Enforce strict laws for child predators

The issue

A deeply disturbing case is unfolding where a 26-year-old man named Joshua Brown has been arrested and charged with over 70 offences of sexually assaulting children.

The victims, aged between five to twelve years old, have been robbed of their innocence and scarred for life. This case underscores a significant gap in our judicial system—it allows predators like Joshua to exploit the system and eventually find their way to freedom.

Current laws often grant parole to individuals who have committed heinous crimes against children, providing them with a second chance while their victims continue to suffer lifelong consequences. This is not justice for the victims nor a preventative measure to protect our children from future harm.

It is imperative for lawmakers to introduce strict legislation that ensures child predators are imprisoned for life without any possibility of parole. We need a legal framework that prioritizes the protection of our children and sends a clear message that such abhorrent actions are met with the severest punishment.

Statistics reveal that recidivism rates among sexual offenders, especially those targeting children, are alarmingly high. According to the Bureau of Justice Statistics, released offenders have a rearrest rate of nearly 5.3% for sex crimes within three years.

To prevent further victimization, it's crucial that we take decisive action. Laws must reflect the severity of these crimes by ensuring that child predators remain behind bars permanently. Protecting the most vulnerable in our society should be of utmost importance, and we must demand changes now before more children fall prey to these predators.

Your voice can make a difference in bringing about safer communities for our children. Sign this petition to call for stronger laws that will keep child predators incarcerated for life without parole. Believe me we need to change our laws to protect children from these cruel disgusting disease, pigs and pigs like those don’t deserve to have a second chance because god loves our children as much as we love them and it’s our job and duty to protect children who need to be protected from those who try to hurt and kill them and now it’s time to get the change happening again because we need to be able to make history and make the right decision now by starting today, tomorrow and for the future of children that is all thank you
