“Thank you for elevating your concerns about possible violations of animal welfare regulations at West Coast Game Park. The Coos County Sheriff's Office — in coordination with federal agencies — is currently conducting an investigation of the facility and its practices. Since this is an active investigation, I cannot comment beyond acknowledging we are looking into the concerns raised in this petition. When appropriate, we will provide updates to the community on the status and findings of the investigation. In the meantime, my door is always open and happy to make myself available for those who want to raise any concerns directly with me.
