The residents of Parkline apartments in WPB consistently endure the disturbance of loud music played way beyond midnight, (including on weekdays) from the bars on Clematis Street. This issue is personal to me and many others who live here, stealing our deserved night's rest and affecting our health and work productivity.

Despite there being an existing sound ordinance, there is a lack of urgency in enforcing it. We must take action together. Nighttime noise exposure is a recognized public health concern, with consequences ranging from sleep disturbances to increased risk of heart disease.

We are calling on the local authorities, the original enforcers of said ordinances, to implement stricter measures. An action such as imposing hefty fines on establishments that don’t adhere to the ordinance, could effectively discourage such actions.

This petition seeks to collate the voices of Parkline apartment dwellers facing this issue.
