I've personally seen a heartbreaking scene that reflects a reality many stray animals face - scavenging for food on blistering hot or downpour heavy days - days where even we, as humans, fear to venture out. This situation of stray animals needs urgent attention and sustainable solutions. . Therefore, this petition calls for local authorities and communities to enforce specific mandates requiring provision of shelters and sustenance for our stray animal population. 

The shelters could be a simple shed, a sanctuary that provides respite to these creatures from extreme weather conditions. Additionally, easy-to-access food and water stations should be part of these setups, providing required nourishment to these helpless animals. A well-fed and sheltered animal population directly corresponds to a safer and healthier community as a whole.
