Schools are the backbone of modern-day society.  They are where kids go to learn and are taught to make a difference in the world.  Children are taught they can make a difference in the world.  At least, that's what should be happening.  With the lack of LGBTQ+ anti-discrimination rules, LGBTQ+ kids are left vulnerable.  Life is made difficult, and schools become places where LGBTQ+ youths feel insignificant.  The pursuit of happiness is a right.  And without these rules, it is hard to find the way to happiness.  If these policies aren't created, more and more students will be left feeling unimportant and scared.  With everything going on today, LGBTQ+ kids need all the support you can offer.  As over 25 states are passing bills to hurt these kids, there needs to be a safe, supportive place for them, like a school.  Now is the time to help school districts become that space.  If we don't act now, no change will ever happen.  We must help children reach their full potential.  So, if you care about the future generation, join the fight for protection and support.
