Our highways have become an arena for erratic driving and dangerous conditions, risking the lives and safety of millions of people across the country. Each year, over 1.35 million people are killed as a result of road traffic accidents globally (Source: Association for Safe International Road Travel). One step to combat this issue is by enforcing driving in the left lane with at least two car lengths separating each vehicle on all highways. This measure can greatly reduce the incidence of tailgating, one of the major causes of road accidents. Also driving in the left lane and leaving the right lanes for merging will end traffic jams and make the drive home in your hydrogen car much faster. 

Further, we must address one of the most pressing concerns of our time: the climate crisis. The production of fossil fuels is a major contributor to global warming. According to the Global Carbon Project, 36.8 billion metric tons of CO2 emissions were produced worldwide due to fossil fuel use, in just 2019. We must act now and push for a complete halt of fossil fuel production.

By taking these two actions, we can help create safer driving environments and fight against climate change.
