Dear Supporters, The Enfield Conservative Councillors group sent out a press release on 3rd February stating that the Greater London Authority (GLA) did not encourage the development partnership to continue under the present circumstances. This means they now proceed with start-up arrangements to run a school and the Education Funding Agency (EFA) will look at possible sites for this school. In their press release, Wren Academy Trust and the LDBS mentioned three possible sites, with their preferred site being the fields on Enfield Road. While other sites are potentially viable, we need to demonstrate that collectively residents are opposed to any development on Green Belt Land. We urge you again to please take part now and complete the Local Plan Consultation before the 12th February deadline. In your comments please state that the fields at Enfield Road must be protected and the Green Belt status must remain.
