Save The Falcon Pub in Ponders End London

Save The Falcon Pub in Ponders End London
The Issue
Is anyone else concerned about the Falcon Pub on South Street, Ponders End which is at serious risk of demolition? What can we do about it as community? Appreciate lots of people might not go to pubs but with bit of vision the pub could become community asset and providing community space for youth club and community business opportunity for school/young people. We need to save building as Ponders End needs less flats and more community projects.
Please also take time to email local councillors, MP, and council and local newspapers to help stop demolition.
I have also set up a Facebook group which has 80 followers in just 24 hours which is great! https://www.facebook.com/groups/1288452217939582/
I know this is all a long-shot since The Falcon is in a perilous position on verge of complete demolition and it is the 11th hour.
Finally why should you care about one old former pub?
Remember regret goes only one way. Building flats on this site will efface over 300 years of history and any new construction will cram more people into an area which is beset by social problems and needs community spaces. If a neighbourhood no longer has the thoughtful, well-crafted, spirit-elevating buildings that tell its story, it doesn’t have a heart or soul and it dies. That makes me sad
