As you all know Enfiled council collect our rubbish on a fortnightly basis on the grounds that it's doing environment a favour and saving money. This is totally wrong. The smaller vehicles that roam our streets daily collecting dumped rubbish are probably causing more environment pollution and costing the council more in labour, vehicle maintenance costs etc. 

Our streets are full of rubbish with illegal dumping happening every day and in fact it's increasing all the time, attracting more pests especially now in summer months. Foxes tear into rubbish bags and therefore all sorts of materials are blown all over the area/parks/green spaces causing more damage to the environment.  Yet Enfield council officials are quiet and keep a low profile. 

This needs to change and I would very much appreciate your support in signing this petition to restore weekly rubbish collection and make Enfield realy environmently friendly.
