Dear all, Last March 2015 the first province-wide social media campaign and online petition against brownout in Occidental Mindoro were both launched. Armed only with great dreams of a brighter and brownout free Oksi coupled with a large dose of faith and immense hope for the future - the three of us - Patty Miranda, Annette Aguila and myself started the ‪#‎wantedilaw‬ petition addressed to Hon. Jerico Petilla our country's Secretary of Department of Energy. Thankfully concerned citizens/ netizens from all over the world, sympathetic egroups (SOME Inc., SOB, TSJK, 2020, UNLAD ) and kind-hearted media people from the newspapers and radio heard our plea and felt our plight. We are humbled by their enormous support. So, two days shy of our fourth monthsary, for the first time in the history of our province, a DOE secretary will personally visit us and address our brownout problem. Amin pong pinaniniwalaan at pinasasalamatan na ang mga boses at hinaing ng ordinaryong mamamayang tulad natin ay madali namang pinakinggan ng mga kinauukulan. So peeps salamat po sa lahat ng tulong and sana po sa June 30 -9 am sa San Jose Municipal Gym pakinggan natin ang solusyon na hatid ng government sa ating problema. Kita kits!
