As always, thank you for your continued support to date.  With March being endometriosis month, I thought it was time to share some updates on the progress we have made so far.

We had a zoom call recently with Senator Lisa Chambers discussing the needs of endometriosis patients. We all have our own angles that we are passionate about.  We are due to meet again in a few weeks time.

Some mentioned the implementation of guidelines at GP level to speed up Gynae referrals, some mentioned the lengthy waiting lists and lack of mental health support.  I specifically focused on cannabis prohibition and how that is my biggest obstacle in effective pain management.  Lisa announced her support for the EAI and it can be found here -  Lisa Chambers Announcement

Mel, an incredible advocate and fundraiser has organised the #marcharoundireland campaign and anyone who goes walking can contribute to our overall step count.  All info on this can be found at March-Around-Ireland-for-Endometriosis

There is a virtual event coming up educating medical professionals on prescribing medical cannabis and I will be sending an email to as many GPs as I can encouraging them to attend.  I will have a draft prepared so if you'd like to use the draft to email your own doctors, please get in touch with me.  More info on the event can be found here.
