END Zahi‘s Dark Era | STOP Gatekeeping | RESTORE Honour to Egypt’s Past!
The issue
Being a citizen of the world, the legacy of human history is crucial to my understanding of our shared heritage. Born and raised in Egypt, the ancient secrets buried in our land don't just feel like remnants of an abstract history - they feel personal, like advanced tales of my ancestors waiting to be unraveled.
Unfortunately, the authority responsible for overseeing Egyptology in Egypt has been gatekeeping important information and obstructing new discoveries for decades. These actions appear to be driven by corruption and personal gain.
This issue was recently highlighted on an episode of the Joe Rogan podcast featuring Zahi Hawass, the former head of Egypt’s Supreme Council of Antiquities. His behavior during the interview raised concerns about transparency, accountability, and the suppression of alternative perspectives in the field of Egyptian archaeology.
The Egyptian authorities have the ability to approve further excavations and responsibility to allow brilliant minds from around the world to collaborate together and seek truths. Unveiling the mysteries will shed light on the historical knowledge that could benefit all of humanity, and ignite the passion for exploration in the youth of Egypt and the world alike. The discoveries could also generate considerable interest and subsequent tourism, enriching the Egyptian economy.
As a step forward and starting point, let’s take the recent studies that have suggested there are massive structures beneath the hallowed Pyramids of Giza. Experts believe that these constructions could unlock new insights into our ancestors lives and their ingenious technological advancements, they believe these particular structures were for Power Generation indicating the presence of an advanced hidden city underneath. It is crucial that we advocate for the approval of excavation where we could quickly and safely drill a hole to find out what’s down there once and for all!) as-well as excavation of the hidden chamber inside the Great Pyramid (if viable) which authorities have ignored for the past decade
We can't afford to let the fear of the unknown deny us the knowledge of our rich history. Let's urge the Egyptian authorities to enable this exploration and begin unlocking the secrets not only beneath the Pyramids but of our inspiring ancestors.
Please sign and share this petition to increase pressure on the authorities to end the Zahi Hawas era and allow scientists and brilliant minds to come together, excavate on site and share knowledge and perspectives!
