I, along with many others, have been misled into contracts with aggressive and untrustworthy merchants through Wowcher's misleading holiday advertisements. These promotions often hide hidden fees and the true nature of the merchants involved, leaving consumers vulnerable.

Once entangled, cancellation becomes nearly impossible. Merchants refuse to allow us to cancel, and Wowcher does nothing to assist until you argue with them for weeks. For those fortunate enough to eventually receive a refund, they’ve had to threaten legal action and make their experience public to be listened to.

Despite being previously investigated by BBC Watchdog for similar issues, Wowcher continues to employ unethical practices and partners with dubious merchants. This ongoing exploitation must end.

Furthermore, many other customers seen on the ‘WOWCHER RIP OFF’ Facebook page, have reported receiving items that never arrived, were of poor quality, or were counterfeit. Additionally, vouchers purchased through Wowcher have been deemed unusable or expired without proper notice.

There are so many vulnerable customers that have been left at a financial loss due to Wowcher and their merchants. Despite multiple reports to trading standards and Watchdog, Wowcher continues to mislead people. The only way they’ve received any support is through others that have gone through the same online. 

Enough is enough and Wowcher needs to be held accountable.
