I am a victim of workplace bullying, belittlement, gaslighting, intimidation tactics, and retaliation. This is not just my story; it's the story of countless others who have suffered in silence. These harmful behaviors have taken a toll on my mental health and physical well-being. As someone with mental disabilities, these actions exacerbate my conditions.

Workplace bullying is an epidemic that needs to be addressed urgently. According to the Workplace Bullying Institute (WBI), 19% of Americans are bullied at their place of employment (WBI US Workplace Bullying Survey). This means that nearly one in five employees experience some form of workplace bullying during their careers.

The effects are devastating. The American Psychological Association reports that victims often suffer from anxiety, depression, trauma-related stress disorders - all due to workplace bullying (APA). Moreover, these toxic environments lead to decreased productivity and high turnover rates which affect businesses' bottom line.

We need immediate action from employers across all sectors to put an end to this destructive behavior. We must create safe work environments where everyone is treated with respect and dignity.

This petition calls for strict anti-bullying policies in workplaces nationwide along with proper enforcement mechanisms. It also demands training programs for employees about respectful communication and conflict resolution skills.
