End Unnecessary Finals at Oyster River High School

As the end of the year approaches, students are stressed about their finals exams, regardless of how high their grade is in the class. If Oyster River High School made final exams optional to those who have an A- average or better in the class, it would not only create less stress for the students, but it would encourage them to try harder during the year so they wouldn't have to take a final. Many schools in New Hampshire, including Bedford and Timberlane High School, have started exempting finals and have seen many benefits to the change. Exams should not be given to those who understood the material, but to the students who need to better their grade. Exempting final exams should be a reward to students.
