No kill animal shelter euthanasia fur baby’s matter

The Issue

Animal welfare should matter no animal should be put down unless they do something to indanger someonehttps://chng.it/pHkRr5sB4n

As a passionate animal lover and resident of Modesto, CA, I am deeply disturbed by the unnecessary euthanasia practices at our local Stanislaus County animal shelters. These innocent animals are being put down not because they pose a threat to humans or other animals, but simply due to lack of space and funding. Even newborns that require bottle feeding are not spared from this cruel fate.

It is important to note that according to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA), approximately 1.5 million shelter animals are euthanized each year in the United States. However, many of these deaths can be prevented with adequate resources and community support.

The situation in Stanislaus County is particularly alarming as it reflects a disregard for life and compassion towards our fur friends who don't deserve such treatment. We believe that every life matters and deserves a chance at finding a loving home.

We urge our local government officials in Modesto, CA, USA, as well as private donors and organizations who care about animal welfare, to take immediate action. We need more funding for our shelters so they can provide adequate care for all animals until they find their forever homes; we need policies that prioritize adoption over euthanasia; we need your help.

Please sign this petition if you believe in giving all animals a fair chance at life. Let's end unnecessary euthanasia at Stanislaus County animal shelters now!
