We have a quick (and fun) update about our team in China's recent movie screening and what it means for our vision to end the dog and cat meat trade.
This is the second time in just a few years that a Chinese-made film is featuring a lovable leading doggie. After last year's release of A Dog's Tale featuring the dog Hachiko.
Thanks to support from caring friends like you, we provided free tickets for families and their dogs in three dog-eating cities to come to watch the film and connect with us.
It was a big success! And judging from the photo, the canine critics were pleased...
For 10 years, we have been on the ground in China providing animal care, animal advocacy, and educational programs that help people connect with dogs and cats and begin to see them as family, not food.
I hope you feel proud knowing that your support has helped us reach this moment when movies like this would even be considered for production in China and that would draw large audiences.
Your compassion and support are making BIG, life-saving changes for our canine and feline friends!
THANK YOU for working with us to get this far!
