On the US Thanksgiving day, we have a special "thank you" note to pass along to you from Hei Hei, the cutie in the photo.

Your support helped us rescue her from a slaughterhouse in Yulin. We'll let Hei Hei take it from here and share her story and heartfelt thanks... 

----  Hi:  this is Hei Hei. Thanks to you, I was rescued from a slaughterhouse in Yulin 3 years ago. One of Duo Duo Project's Yulin team members rescued me and took me to the Yulin shelter where I've been safe and getting good care - a shelter your support helped build!

Three weeks ago, I finally arrived in California, USA.  If it weren't for you caring about me, a little mix dog you have never met, none of this would be happening. In fact, I wouldn't even be alive. 

Soon I'll be in Los Angeles with my new furever family! I feel so loved and safe, and I think this is the perfect occasion for me to say thank you for caring about me, saving me, and supporting the "end of the dog and cat meat trade movement".
