Two great moms transformed the life of a dog meat trade survivor.

Elly (爱爱) is a beautiful dog rescued from a Yulin slaughterhouse(4). She spent her first month after rescue hiding in a dark corner(1).  Xiao Yu, Elly’s mom in Yulin, showed her the love and patience that she needed to recover and thrive(2). Now Elly lives in sunny California with Anne(3), her California mom, her dad, two human brothers, and two doggie sisters.

These two wonderful mothers’ selfless acts epitomize our core belief that our "end the dog meat trade" movement begins with our love of dogs and is sustained by our faith in humanity. Happy Mother's Day to Xiao Yu, Anne, and all of the wonderful moms.
