The Issue

The use of leaded gasoline in aviation fuel is a serious environmental and public health concern. Despite being banned for use in cars since 1990, leaded gasoline continues to be used widely in aviation fuel across Canada. This practice results not only in significant environmental pollution but also poses severe health risks, including neurological damage, especially to children. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), there is no safe level of lead exposure. It's time we take action and demand an end to this hazardous practice.

We urge the Canadian government and relevant authorities to enforce stricter regulations on the use of leaded gasoline in aviation fuel. By doing so, we can protect our environment and safeguard public health from harmful pollutants.

Stand with us today for a cleaner, safer future for all Canadians. Sign this petition now!
