Dear Everyone Who Believes in Justice,
To every one of you who has signed, shared, or cared—thank you, truly, for giving me a reason to keep pushing forward.
I’m still here, holding onto a faint glimmer of hope that your support keeps alive. For months, I’ve poured my heart into letters, evidence, and nearly 100 medical records, sending them to the Department of Home Affairs—begging for understanding and justice. But they don’t acknowledge anything I’ve sent. They don’t accept anything I’ve sent. There’s no consideration, no response, nothing whatsoever—just a wall of silence. The only thing the Department of Home Affairs tells me is "Get out"; that’s all.
My Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, a relentless shadow, grows darker without the medication I can no longer afford. With no health insurance, each day is a battle to keep my spirit from breaking. Still, your belief in me fuels a resilience I refuse to let die.
Yet, I am not alone. Your solidarity is my strength. Over 370 signatures now stand with me, each one a powerful reminder of what compassion can achieve. Still, we need more voices to join us, to demand the five critical changes that will protect victims of hate crimes and secure justice for all, no matter their visa status.

Together, we can transform my love for Australia into a story of healing, not despair. I’m exhausted and aching without my medications, but with you, I find a strength I thought was gone. Thank you for lifting me when I can barely stand. Let’s keep pressing forward toward a home that restores.
With all my gratitude and a hope that grows with you,
Hiroki Goto
