Every time I go into a pet store, the birds are pacing back and forth. Pet stores have also been caught throwing out animals that aren’t selling and don’t give their animals the proper enrichment they need. It doesn’t matter if they are awaiting adoption, they are confined to a tiny cage where they can’t even spread their wings in the meantime. It is incredibly cruel and inhumane. Imagine if you were trapped in a dog kennel against your will, that is roughly about the size they have to move around.

Exotic pets often suffer from inadequate care due to lack of proper knowledge about their needs. Keeping animals in small cages for their entire lives leads to severe physical and psychological distress unless they are injured and need confinement for recovery.

It's time we take action against this cruelty by ending the sale of exotic pets and making it illegal to keep animals in such restrictive conditions. Help us protect these innocent creatures by signing this petition today!
