The current freeze on new cannabis retail licenses in Manitoba is limiting access to legal cannabis for many Manitobans. By allowing cannabis to be sold at DOMO gas stations, we can increase accessibility and convenience for consumers while maintaining strict control over sales.

Ending this freeze will not only improve consumer access but also stimulate local economies by creating jobs and generating additional tax revenue. According to Statistics Canada, the legal cannabis market in 2022/2023 year grew by 23% in Manitoba; the highest in the nation and generated 4.7 billion total sales Across Canada.

We call upon the Manitoba government to end the freeze on controlled-access cannabis retail licenses and allow for the sale of WOWKPOW! cannabis at DOMO gas stations.
