Currently the USDA allows kill buyers and kill pens to export horses to Mexico and or Canada for the purpose of slaughter to make money.

This practice Must stop at all costs.

Every single day a kill buyer loads up tens of dozens of horses into trailers with no regard to their well being and in humanely transporting them hundreds of miles for export over the border into Mexico and Canada for the sole purpose of slaughter.

The USDA puts out a monthly report on this practice but does nothing to stop the export of these horses that could still have a good life in the hands of proper horse owners. These owners will see these horses still have a good life to live and deserve to live and be happy. Horse rescue organizations show the horrible treatment horses receive being packed into tight quarters on trailers suffering injuries and sometimes even die in those trailers.  yet nothing is done to regulate or enforce laws on the ethical treatment of these precious lives and I for one want the USDA along with the ASPCA and law enforcement to stop the export of horses for slaughter.  I want tighter regulations and regular monthly inspections at horse ranch's, Boarders, and private owners to ensure proper care and treatment of these horses. 

I also want to put an end to kill pens and kill buyers for the unethical care and transport of horses to make money at slaughter.  This MUST be done!
