As a resident and animal lover of North Little Rock, I have witnessed the devastating impact of our city's pit bull ban. It is not only racially biased but has senselessly ended the lives of countless innocent dogs, costing taxpayers for an unnecessary enforcement. This ban has been wielded as a shield for the North Little Rock Animal Shelter, hiding numerous, alleged, wrongful euthanizations of dogs that were not even confirmed as pitbulls.

Given our taxes are funding this discriminatory initiative, we must question its cost-effectiveness and demand change.
