End the Defence Trailblazer Program! Kick weapons companies off of campus!

The Adelaide University, through the defence trailblazer program, is deeply tied to the arms industry and is complicit in the genocide in Gaza. We demand an end to this program and the severing of all ties to weapons companies.

Over 200+ companies are part of the program, including the infamous BAE Systems and Lockheed Martin, which is designed to help “upskill” students and researchers to work in this industry, as well as to research improvements to the weapons of destruction produced by these companies. 

For example, through the research done at Adelaide University, Northrop Grumman are improving inertial navigation control systems used in aircraft and guided missiles - such as the Apache attack helicopters and Hellfire missiles Israel has used against civilians, including children, in Gaza, Lebanon and Iran. 

Adelaide Students for Palestine demand that the Adelaide University ends the Defence Trailblazer Program and cuts ties with all weapons companies. Education should be for the good of students and humanity, not for war profiteering.
