Animal testing subjects innocent creatures to unnecessary suffering. Animals are confined to laboratory cages, injected with chemicals, and exposed to painful procedures, causing distress and potential long-term physical and psychological harm. It is morally unacceptable to sacrifice the well-being of sentient beings for human benefit when alternative methods are readily available.

Furthermore, animal testing often fails to accurately predict human responses. Fundamental biological differences between species make extrapolating results to humans unreliable. Countless drugs and treatments that have shown promise in animal tests have later proven ineffective or even harmful to humans. This highlights the urgent need for innovative and reliable alternatives.

Fortunately, scientific advancements have opened the door to alternative methods that are not only more humane but also more effective. Sophisticated in vitro models, organ-on-a-chip technology, computer simulations, and other advanced techniques offer safer and more accurate avenues for research. Investing in these alternatives will not only save animal lives but also lead to better outcomes for human health.

The time has come to end animal testing and embrace compassionate alternatives. We must advocate for increased funding and support for the development and implementation of innovative research methods that prioritize ethics and scientific progress. By shifting our focus towards cruelty-free and reliable alternatives, we can foster a more compassionate and effective future for scientific research while respecting the rights and well-being of all sentient beings. Together, let us strive for a world where animals are no longer subjected to unnecessary suffering in the name of progress. I hope that everybody connects with me and helps me stop a critical issue in our society. Animal testing seems to be a rare experience but in reality, millions of people every day contribute by providing money for the companies that buy their products that have used animal testing. 

The change I want to make consists of contacting Massachusetts representatives to help me continue to educate and stop animal testing. I also plan on making a difference by contacting the animal testing companies that physically do the harming and experiments such as the company called, Convance. I plan on persuading the company to change its policies such as turning to digital experiments (In silico) with the help of the Massachusetts  representatives.
