I am a student at Citrus College in Glendora, CA, USA. This petition is deeply personal to me because of the promotion of Starbucks in our school. As an Arab-American, I find it offensive that our school proudly displays signs saying "We proudly serve Starbucks." This is because Starbucks has been known to support Israel, which has caused distress within the Arab community worldwide.

Our school should be a place where all students feel comfortable and respected. By promoting a company that supports causes which are controversial and hurtful to some members of our community, we are failing to create an inclusive environment for everyone.

It's important to note that this isn't just about one person's feelings or beliefs - it's about ensuring respect for all students' backgrounds and values. According to the U.S Census Bureau (2019), Glendora is home to many families with Middle Eastern heritage who could potentially share similar sentiments.

We urge the administration of our school in Glendora, CA, USA, to cancel their contract with Starbucks and choose another provider for coffee services on campus - one whose political affiliations do not cause discomfort or offend its student body.
