Dolphinaris Arizona closed its doors permanently due to the death of four beautiful dolphins: Bodie, Alia, Khloe, and Kai Nalu. However, the four remaining dolphins: Liko, Noelani, Ping, and Sonny, were left homeless and orphaned by their previous captors: Dolphin Quest and Sea World!! They are now being held captive at Coral World in St. Thomas under the inappropriately and deceiving guise of the word “Sanctuary!”

A “TRUE SANCTUARY” would not force these beautiful dolphins to perform for humans on a daily basis for entertainment and financial gain. They will be forced to work for their food and placed in the worst possible area of the ocean where humans can’t even swim 40% of the year due to high levels of bacteria (enterocci) infested waters! These dolphins had never been in the ocean and yet they were dropped into these sea pens immediately after arriving to this CAPTIVE FACILITY!

They should have been slowly acclimated to their new environment and examined thoroughly by marine biologists and Specialized Veterinary physicians as promised by Dolphinaris! THEY WERE NOT! We need to act fast and convince/encourage the Creator/Owner of Coral World to make HISTORY by truly making this a “Seaside Sanctuary” for the dolphins currently there as well as those they plan on obtaining from other facilities as well as breeding.

These dolphins have not only suffered a life of servitude to humans exploiting them day after day for profit only, they have suffered the loss of their friends and family all in such a short amount of time!  Their health has been greatly compromised and Noelani, in particular, is struggling in many ways. She lost her vision after being transported to Dolphinaris Arizona. Coral World has an opportunity to make HISTORY by becoming The FIRST DOLPHIN SANCTUARY IN THE UNITED STATES!!  A place where humans can look but NOT touch and learn and see dolphins in a more natural environment exhibiting their TRUE, Natural behaviors with the end goal being their FREEDOM FROM CAPTIVITY!
