I’m sure those of you who live on the East side of Washington Street in Afton have driven on 4th Ave past swift creek high school this winter and have seen the vehicles parked in front of the high school. These vehicles are causing a roadblock. It’s getting to the point where at times it creates a bottleneck. This is not only proving to be frustrating and annoying but is allowing the opportunity for crashes, a child being hit, and delay emergency services. There is plenty of room to the East and South of the high school. What we are asking is a very simple change and can easily be accomplished. We The People have the voice to make a change.
