End School Fights in Florida

End School Fights in Florida
The Issue
There have been over 30 fights each year in most schools, and I want to put a stop to them. This issue mainly concerns middle and high schools where the occurrence of fights is alarmingly high, unlike elementary schools where these incidents are rare.
Fights disrupt the learning environment, causing distress and potentially leading to injuries among students. It is heartbreaking to know that instead of focusing on education and building friendships, students are subjected to such violence on school grounds. School should be a safe place for everyone, a place where students can learn, grow, and thrive without the fear of being involved in a physical altercation.
Florida schools need to implement more comprehensive anti-bullying programs and conflict resolution workshops. By investing in these programs, schools can educate students on how to handle disagreements peacefully and prevent fights before they escalate. Additionally, increasing adult supervision during breaks and between classes can deter potential conflicts.
Furthermore, schools should create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable reporting tensions and conflicts. Providing adequate counseling services can help students work through their issues in a healthy manner.
This is an urgent call for school administrators, teachers, parents, and students in Florida to unite and work towards fostering a safer school environment. Let's take immediate action to ensure our children are learning in a peaceful and secure setting.
Sign this petition to end school fights and make Florida schools safer for everyone.
like for me I go to Mollet middle school and I have like I’ve seen so many fights and some of them have been scary like people have gotten like severely injured people. I’ve had to go to the hospital and this year we have a new principal and her name is Carrie Weatherly and she’s very nice and our assistant principal is Cody Billsma. They’re both really nice
