Europe has already decided on a date for the end of the roaming, June 2017. As a first step, they will be reduced in 2016 the highest rates of mobile roaming by 75%. The negotiations have been closed, negotiations in which your voice as citizens has been powerfully heard and allowed the moratorium which would postpone the debate, to be slowed until 2018. All organizations involved in this campaign, Eixo Atlántico, RIET (Iberian Network of Transboudary Entities), OCU (Spanish Consumer Association), DECO (Consumer Associatio of Portugal), as well as consumer groups in France (UFC- Que choisir), Belgium (Test-Achats), Netherlands (Consumentenbond), Denmark (DCC), Slovenia (ZPS), Greece (EKPIZO and KEPKA) and the European Consumers Organization (BEUC), we want to publicly acknowledge your involvement in this case. Together we have managed to create a social movement that has crossed borders to say loud and clear that we want to be heard and be participants in all those decisions by European bodies which affect us as consumers.
