Our Winthrop community is experiencing frequent and prolonged NBN outages that are disrupting lives and livelihoods. We rely on stable internet for remote work, online learning, healthcare access, and staying connected with loved ones.

We have identified the affected areas, including: Hacket Pass, Aitken Drive, Silbert Circle, Barrett-Lennard Parade, Kingsmill Garnens, Watson Hill, Paton Close, Dumas Close, Northmore Crescent, Male Court, Keenan Way, and Mauldon Mews. A growing number of residents have expressed their frustration on social media, documenting ongoing outages and service failures.

We are calling on NBN Co, our local MP, and the relevant telecommunications regulators to:

Publicly acknowledge the ongoing outages in Winthrop.
Provide a timeline and transparent updates on repair efforts and long-term infrastructure solutions.
Offer compensation or interim solutions for affected residents.
