You did it!!! Greens and WEP commit to ending #PeriodPoverty in 2017 manifestos! #GE2017

Hello all 68,283 of you!!! Something absolutely amazing has happened. Thanks to your letters, tweets and activism, we have successfully lobbied both the Green Party and the Women’s Equality Party into joining the Liberal Democrats in their commitment to ending period poverty in their 2017 General Election manifestos. Period! All three of these mainstream political parties have pledged to give free sanitary products to girls in schools, after research found that some girls are missing school because they cannot afford sanitary products.
