#PeriodPoverty makes it into manifestos!!! #GE2017

Hello amazing people! Yesterday marked a milestone in stamping out period poverty. Period! The Liberal Democrats announced they will ensure all girls will be provided with free sanitary products in schools, to make sure no teenager’s education suffers because they cannot afford pads or tampons. This is HUGE news! Not only does it prove that major political parties are taking period poverty seriously, but it also gets a female-focused policy into the political agenda in one fell swoop. BOOM! Now let’s see our other major political parties follow suit in the run up to the 8th June.
