Hey everyone. It has been way too long since I posted an update regarding Topix. For the last several years, several people have been working to bring an end to what was and still can be the most dangerous website on the internet. Fortunately, through a lot of hard work Topix' dangerous forums are struggling. They now are averaging about 25,000 posts a day (though many of them are still libelous so there is more work to be done) compared to around 175,000 posts a day just a few years ago. While all of your hard work and ours has made a difference, the truth is a lot of this is Topix own doing. The lack of registration of users and moderation ultimately shortened the life of Topix in terms of popularity. The few good users they had got ran off years ago. The petition has definitely helped as it was a good springboard to send to politicians and we now would like this petition (though we haven't been pushing it much as of late) to President Trump, as his wife is very much against cyberbullying. When we started we hoped to get a solid 100 people to sign so we could send it to media and are blown away that over 5,500 people have signed even though we don't promote this petition much anymore. We hope those who have not signed it yet will continue to do so. Thank you so much for your help. It is a shame that Topix has repeatedly chosen the low road and though their website is in decline, it is sad to think of the reputations and lives this company has destroyed through the years.
