A radio interview & a letter from Texas Sen. Fraser

First, I just completed an interview with Ms. Phyllis Jones, host of the KISS Community Connections on station 103.1 KISS FM here in Copperas Cove, TX, the station broadcast throughout the Copperas Cove, Killeen, Harker Heights and Temple, TX areas. Hopefully I'll see a boost in signatures following the broadcast tomorrow morning. For anyone in the Central Texas area, the show should air Sunday March 27th from 6am - 7am on 103.1 FM in Copperas Cove, TX and B106.3 FM in Temple, TX. Secondly, I received a reply from Texas Sen. Troy Fraser, it is attached. The unfortunate downside of this being an election year and the Texas legislature only meeting on odd-numbered years is that as his reply states, any action on this petition will fall to the 85th Texas legislature which takes office in January 2017. Please continue sharing, supporting and promoting this petition, most members of the 84th Texas legislature will be retaining their seats and I would like this issue to be the #1 issue on their minds come January 2017. Please e-mail a link to this petition to your Texas and U.S. legislators, let them know that this is important to you and you expect it to be important to them as well. For those awesome supporters in the other 49 states, if you have experienced school meal account issues within your state, then please forward petition links and your comments to your State and Federal legislators, get their commitment to address this issue so that you don't have to resort to a similar petition.
