Lions are wild animals, not entertainment!

At Lion World Cafe, lion cubs are being kept in enclosed glass, unnatural environments for human interaction and display. Not just this cafe, but there are multiple establishments - Lion Phuket Cafe, Tiger Kingdom Phuket, using animals in unnatural enclosures. These animals are confined behind glass and exposed to constant noise, handling, and stimulation, conditions that do not meet their physical or psychological needs.

In the wild, lions live in vast, open environments, where they can roam freely, socialise naturally, and live without human interference. A café setting is completely incompatible with their welfare.

These cubs are often bred in captivity for profit, only to be placed in stressful, restrictive environments for entertainment.

This is not conservation, it is exploitation.

Our Demands:

We call on Thai authorities, including the Department of National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation, to:

* Shut down the use of lions for entertainment at Lion World Café
* Ban wildlife cafés across Thailand
* Enforce stricter animal welfare laws and regular inspections
* End the commercial breeding of lions for public interaction
* Relocate these animals to accredited sanctuaries where they can live in safe, naturalistic conditions

WHY?

Keeping wild animals in confined spaces for human enjoyment is not ethical. Lion cubs deserve proper care, space, and a life free from exploitation.

If we stay silent, this continues.
