The Catholic University of America (CUA) claims to stand for truth, justice, and respectful dialogue. Yet, it continues to support a student club that openly glorifies terrorism and promotes antisemitic rhetoric, all with university funding.

The so-called “Olive Branch” club has:

• Referred to Hamas terrorists as ‘martyrs,' the same Hamas that massacred 1,200 innocent civilians on October 7th.
• Promoted events like ‘Drag for Palestine,’ a mockery of real human rights abuses while spreading anti-Israel propaganda.
• Operated using student funding to promote a radical agenda that contributes to a hostile environment for Jewish and pro-Israel students.

We, the undersigned, demand that Catholic University:

1. Immediately revoke recognition of The Olive Branch for its promotion of antisemitism and glorification of terrorism.
2. Conduct a full investigation into how student funds are being used to support hate speech and ensure no university resources go toward extremist activities.
3. Publicly condemn antisemitism on campus and take meaningful action to protect Jewish and pro-Israel students.

CUA cannot claim to stand for justice while allowing an organization that sympathizes with terrorist groups to operate freely. The university would never tolerate a club that glorified ISIS, so why is Hamas any different? It’s time for CUA to take a stand and shut down this disgraceful organization.
