Firstly, I want to say thank you.

In just a few days, our petition has grown to almost 2,500 signatures, and it continues to grow every hour. I honestly never imagined so many Australians would stand together on this issue, and I am incredibly grateful for every person who has signed, shared, prayed and encouraged others.

Over the past few days, we've seen some significant developments.

The venue has changed its name from Unholy Playhouse to Divine Playhouse.

Much of its social media content has been removed, and its website is now password protected. While these changes have occurred, the venue has continued operating, and the questions we've been asking remain unanswered.

Behind the scenes, I have been working directly with Members of Parliament who have committed to taking this fight forward. Formal representations are now being prepared, meetings are taking place, and this issue is being raised with senior decision-makers. While much of this work isn't public yet, I wanted you to know that your signatures are making a difference.

Our campaign has also begun receiving media attention, with coverage from news.com.au, The Daily Telegraph, The Australian, and a number of other online publications. Regardless of differing opinions, I'm grateful that this issue is now being discussed publicly.

Many people have been writing to Members of Parliament, government departments, Church leaders, journalists and community organisations. Others have been speaking with those connected to the property itself. Many more have simply been praying.

This campaign has never been about one person. It has become a community of people who believe Christianity deserves the same dignity and respect afforded to every other faith community.

Our brothers from The Prodigal Sons have organised another evening of peaceful prayer and witness:

📍 Friday, 17 July

🕕 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm

📍 420 Kent Street, Sydney (opposite the venue)

If you are able to attend, I encourage you to join in prayer, unity and Christian witness. Please remember that our response must always reflect Christ with peace, respect and love for every person.

There is still much work ahead.

We are continuing to seek answers from the NSW Government about the nature of any government association with this venue, how those decisions were made, and whether public support was appropriate. We will continue asking those questions respectfully until we receive clear answers.

Finally, I ask you not to lose momentum.

Please continue sharing this petition.

Please continue writing to your local Member of Parliament.

Please continue praying for our leaders, for everyone involved, and for those who organised the venue.

Most importantly, continue growing closer to Jesus Christ.

The greatest witness we can give the world is not simply opposing what we believe is wrong, but becoming more faithful disciples of Christ ourselves.

Thank you for standing with us.

May God bless you all.
