I am deeply connected to the ongoing crisis in regions like Gaza, Sudan, and Congo because of my Palestinian family members. I also have Jewish friends who are being impacted and want peace in the region. It's time we take a stand against the genocide happening in these regions. We have lost faith in our governments and we are demanding we be heard. 

According to Global Conflict Tracker, there are over 5 million internally displaced persons due to conflict in Sudan alone (source: Global Conflict Tracker). In Congo, more than 4.5 million people have been displaced and over 900k people are facing severe food insecurity (source: UN reports). The situation in Gaza is catastrophic with ecosystems being lost and more than 30,000 killed, who are mostly women and children. 

The plight of hostages held captive across these regions is another heart-wrenching issue that needs immediate attention. Their families live each day with uncertainty and fear for their loved ones' safety.

It's high time we raise our voices against this humanitarian crisis. We must urge international bodies like the United Nations and governments worldwide to intervene effectively to end the genocide and bring hostages home safely.
