End Gang Violence

This petition had 179 supporters

We are setting out to Fulfill the Dream of Martin Luther King, Jr. If we don't unite & end the violence amongst ourselves, the diverse minority won't be here in the next 5-10 years. We do not need to be killing each other. The system is already doing that. Now is the time to realize what is at stake and take action. We will use non-violent ways to make a difference in our communities and society abroad.

"I'm not saying we can't love & appreciate where we're from, but the violence has got to stop"- Bing Bing

By signing this petition and joining the march, you will be supporting Foster Kids & Widows who suffer from broken families and troubled lives while promoting Unity & Peace. This is what we've all been waiting for. All the real "Gang Bangers" know that unity & peace are long overdue. Let's go.

I, Michael Taylor (commonly known as Bing Bing or Mistah Wilson), will be walking 21+ miles to End Gang Violence while representing Foster Kids & Widows on 1.19.14, my 24th birthday.

I will be starting at approximately 9:00a.m at Pink's Hot Dog Stand in West Hollywood. The walk will end at El Camino College Compton Center. View the official route here:

This walk is called the Martin Luther King March "Unity & Peace" walk for Foster Kids & Widows. I chose to name this event after Martin Luther King, Jr. because he was a leader who demonstrated non-violent, effective ways to rebel for a righteous cause. I'm sure he would not appreciate him putting his life on the line just to see his own people fighting and killing each other. I have set out to fulfill his dream.

With this walk, I am trying to make the biggest possible impact as I can. By doing this walk, I am demonstrating positive, non-violent ways to make change in our communities and society abroad. Please. Walk with me.

On Sunday October 13th, 2013, I organized and completed a 27-mile historic walk from Altadena to Gardena to unite my local music scene and promote Breast Cancer/Mental Illness awareness. See proof here:

On March 9th, 2014, I will be running the 2014 Los Angeles Marathon to raise funds for Transitional-Age Foster Youth just like me. I am officially sponsored byHathaway-Sycamores Child and Family Services. Learn more here:
