I posted twice this week , sharing briefly about how I was forced into an arranged marriage at the age of 17 years old. It maybe the post and the message that brought you to this petition. I hope you did sign the petition since you are already here and have shared it on your social media and via email while you are here. I thank you very much for the support. It means the world of change to me.

Your response has confirmed the importance of sharing my story and of starting this petion. I started it a year ago, never spoke much about it , 2020 is the year to bring change. Please leave your comments as I am compiling each on of the comments you have left behind.

It is not easy to talk about this matter because it affects my mother and my aunt who were very involved in the process and went to the extent of locking me in a room and bit me with the best for a period of about 4 months for refusing to get maried but I never said Yes , I refused until the end , yet I still got married. 

Your signinf a petition today means a lot to me and what I have decided to do for those in a situation like me . Your effort just taking yout time to log in and sign is truly and highly appreciated ..

Forced marriage is a never ending rape. Lets stop it
