The People vs Flock IMPORTANT update

Fellow residents,

I write you as a Franklin Township resident who was willing to take a stand for my neighbors. A Petition to Ban Flock and cancel the contract. We have good people in our area that helped me investigate every detail. I used methods to find every single camera with AI features, documenting each location. That's when I realized, Franklin Township has 50 AI surveillance cameras at minimum.  28  Flock ALPR's, some Motorola LPR's. 4  Flock AI Condor cameras in parks, 17 Meraki MV72X AI PTZ systems and probably more. This isn't just about flock anymore. 

1st they pass Flock with no disclosure to the people under the guise of "gunshot detection". Then I handed in our petition with huge local support, requesting it be on the Agenda. Instead, they brought in a sales guy from flock and the public safety director to gaslight us. Either the safety director lied, or is completely ignorant. I have every single false statement fed to us documented. They said it was "22 cameras". They think we are sheep. 311k Hotlist Hits in 30 days. 48% of all camera scans are hotlists. They can't even be honest and admit the AI is flawed flagging innocent people. 

I met with the Mayor. These people are afraid of being embarrassed. Because they are not educated on this AI surveillance tech. They didn't even know they passed 400k worth of AI surveillance that collects our data for police to search. Or the secret top secret subscription to Meraki for more AI surveillance. Or maybe, these people are just playing dumb.

This is more critical than ever. We need to stop this expansion of AI dragnet surveillance policing our town.
