Hedgehogs are wild animals. Endangered wild animals. Hedgehogs need to run, explore and stimulate their minds. To be caged is to not to be allowed to be a hedgehog. Alive but not living; how can we continue to condone the exploitation of these innocent creatures for our own twisted entertainment? 

Hedgehogs are solitary animals who have no desire to interact with humans. Why should you go against their fundamental needs? Hedgehogs need to run, explore and search for their food; not be delivered their meals on a shiny plastic plate. 

If you are someone who cares for animals, why would you ever condemn them to this unnatural and cruel life of confinement and torture?

Ban the African pygmy hedgehog pet trend once and for all.
