Dear Dr. Mai Sato,

We, the undersigned Iranian people of different political, ethnic, religious affiliations, would like to extend our sincere congratulations on your appointment as The United Nations Special Rapporteur on the Situation of Human Rights in the Islamic Republic of Iran, and wish you success in your important task.

The dire situation of human rights in Iran, since the beginning of the reign of terror, when the Mullahs came into power, 44 years ago,  has not been hidden from anyone’s eyes. Among all the different forms of human rights violations, one can refer to the lack of freedom of expression, demonstrations, and gatherings. In such cases the whole world has witnessed that the Islamic Government unleashes its security police to beat people, shoot to kill, or maiming and blinding them in the streets. Valid statistics prove the truth of these statements. 

Documentary reports show that the Islamic Republic of Iran (IRI) silences its opponents by resorting to force, threats, imprisonment and execution, and avoids any international accountability. The IRI has gone beyond violating human rights against Iranian citizens and has committed a crime by executing  political prisoners. In fact, Mr. Javid Rahman, the previous UN special rapporteur, concluded in his report that the human rights violations by Islamic Republic of Iran constitute “Human Genocide.” 

We humbly request that you pay special attention to the issue of execution of political prisoners, among all human principles and human rights that are violated in Iran. The IRI executes its political opponents easily, and fearlessly of international pressure. Our hope is that by carefully investigating this matter, and globalizing it, and reflecting the voice of the oppressed people of Iran in the world, you will increase global pressure on the countries who have economic interests in Iran, to stop their appeasements. By exerting global pressure, you may in fact persuade the leaders of those countries to put the human rights issues above their economic interests, to achieve honor in the eyes of the benevolent and human rights defending people of their own country.  We hope to see an end to this shameful and inhuman act of execution of the political opponents by the autocratic Mullahs during your tenure as the UN Special Rapporteur on the Situation of Human Rights in the IRI. 

Thank you for your consideration in reporting on these human rights atrocities, and shedding light on the killing of innocent political prisoners by the Mullahs in Iran. We hope your reports become, in fact, a force for change for good in Iran and the Middle East.

ما ایرانیان امضا کننده زیر با گرایشهای مختلف سیاسی، قومی، و مذهبی، انتصاب شما را به عنوان گزارشگر ویژه سازمان ملل متحد در مورد وضعیت حقوق بشر در جمهوری اسلامی ایران صمیمانه شادباش گفته و برایتان در انجام وظیفه خطیری که دارید آرزوی موفقیت داریم. 

وضعیت وخیم حقوق بشر در ایران، از ابتدای سلطه وحشت و ترور، زمانی که آخوندها به قدرت رسیدند، یعنی ۴۴ سال پیش، از چشم هیچکس پنهان نبوده است. از میان انواع مختلف نقض حقوق بشر در ایران میتوان به نبود آزادی بیان، حق تظاهرات و تجمعات اشاره کرد. در چنین مواردی، همه دنیا تا کنون شاهد بوده اند که حکومت اسلامی، پلیس امنیتی خود را، برای ضرب و شتم مردم، تیراندازی به قصد کشتن و یا ناقص و کور کردن آنها به خیابانها گسیل می دارد. آمارهای معتبر صحت این اظهارات را به ثبوت میرساند. 

گزارشهای مستند نشان میدهند که جمهوری اسلامی ایران با توسل به زور و تهدید مخالفان خود را خاموش میکند و از هرگونه پاسخگویی بین المللی طفره می رود. جمهوری اسلامی ایران پای خود را از مرحله نقض حقوق بشر شهروندان خود فراتر نهاده و در اعدام زندانیان سیاسی مرتکب جنایت شده است. در حقیقت، آقای جاوید رحمان، گزارشگر قبلی مخصوص سازمان ملل، در گزارش خود به این نتیجه رسید که نقض حقوق بشر توسط جمهوری اسلامی ایران به منزله «نسل کشی» بشر است. 

ما از شما خاضعانه استدعا داریم که به موضوع اعدام زندانیان سیاسی در میان تمامی اصول انسانی و حقوق بشری که در ایران نقض می شوند، توجه ویژه ای داشته باشید. جمهوری اسلامی ایران مخالفان سیاسی خود را به راحتی و بدون واهمه از فشارهای بین المللی اعدام میکند. امیدواریم با بررسی دقیق این موضوع و جهانی سازی نتایج آن، صدای مردم مظلوم ایران را در جهان منعکس کرده و فشار جهانی را بر کشورهائی که منافع اقتصادی در ایران دارند افزایش دهید تا به ادامه مماشات خود با ایران خاتمه دهند. به این ترتیب شاید  بتوانید سردمداران آن کشورها را متقاعد کنید که مسائل حقوق بشری را بالاتر از منافع اقتصادی خود قرار دهند تا در مقابل مردم خیرخواه و مدافعین حقوق بشر کشور خود مفتخر و سربلند باشند. امیدواریم شاهد لغو مجازات اعدام مخالفان سیاسی در ایران توسط ملاهای خودکامه در دوران ماموریت شما به عنوان گزارشگر ویژه سازمان ملل متحد در مورد وضعیت حقوق بشر در جمهوری اسلامی ایران باشیم.

از توجه شما در گزارش این جنایات حقوق بشری، و برملا کردن کشتار زندانیان سیاسی بیگناه توسط آخوندها در ایران سپاسگزاریم. ما امیدواریم که گزارشات شما در واقع نیروئی بشود برای تغییر در جهت خیر و صلاح در ایران و منطقه خاورمیانه.
