As a resident of Tintagel Close in Derby, UK, I am deeply concerned about the escalating drug use and illegal activities that are plaguing our community. The presence of young people not from our area loitering around the community centre has become a constant issue. This situation is intimidating residents and restricting their opportunities to access support services and social events operating from the centre.

The fear of retribution prevents us from challenging this negative behaviour. Furthermore, vandalism and crime have been on the rise in our community due to these activities. According to Derbyshire Police reports, there has been an increase in reported crimes related to drugs and anti-social behaviour over the past year (source: Derbyshire Police).

This petition calls for immediate action from local authorities to address these issues by increasing police presence in our neighbourhood, implementing stricter controls on drug dealing activities, providing more resources for youth engagement programs to deter loitering around the community centre.
